INTRODUCING THE REMEMBRANCE DATA STORYTELLING CAMPAIGN™
A sponsored 8–12 week campaign that turns your elders, alumni, and local history into published artifacts students can learn from and communities can reconnect, and collaborate on projects of Remembrance.
A Storytelling Campaign braids three inputs:
- Your institution has all the tools to act, you hold elder memory, local data; allow us to organize your intuition in a clear “Why?”
- Student energy acts as connective tissue between gaps in co-branded public artifact. Youth become journalists
- Elders who’d become living archives, storytellers, anchors of action
Your campus becomes a living museum. The artifact becomes curriculum, development material, and press. You’ll join a national movement!
I. Co-Branded Data Story
A published report or digital artifact weaving elder voices with local community data.
II. Podcast or Video Episode
A professionally produced Remembrance episode featuring your elders, alumni, and students.
III. Public Ritual
A block party, archive launch, or listening circle that activates the community around the work.
IV. Curriculum Artifact
A teacher-ready guide with consent forms, interview frameworks, and classroom exercises.
V. Consent-First Archive
Every recording captured with consent, stored securely, owned by the storyteller and your institution.

PROOF — THE METHODOLOGY IN PRACTICE
We’re currently partnering with community schools, school networks, higher education institutions in a multi-phase Remembrance curriculum build with Cypher.
The West End archive in Moorestown has created a social engine for generating elder stories and unlocked $350K+ in municipal and state funding. Cypher’s Remembrance work is a National model, featured in TEDx talk, and an active partner with NJ Historic Trust and Moorestown Historical Society.

Single campaign:
3 podcast episode + 1 community event. 8 weeks.
Full campaign:

Multi-school cohort:
3–5 institutions campaigning together. 14–16 weeks.

SPONSORSHIP PATHWAY
Most institutions fund their campaign through a co-sponsor model: the school or cultural org puts in 40–50% of the budget, and Cypher helps identify corporate, foundation, and civic co-sponsors for the remainder. Campaigns tied to America 250, Juneteenth, Founder’s Day, or Black History Month are particularly fundable.
